day #47 in 2009-2010
Yay, all the tourists are gone!
4-6 inches of snow in the last 48 hours only. So much for the 1-2 feet of snow that was called for. But it was still fun and I was a bit more on my game today (plus, with at least a few inches on the ground, it made the sidehits much more forgiving it you fxcked up).
Rode in the morning with Liem, Tim and Shane. Then Liem and Tim were too hung-over to ride so they went home and Shane and I met up with John and Gary...then we got some other friends of theirs, including a ripper of a kid, who I've met and rode with before. Jonas seriously kicks our asses. Found some fresh. Glad it's been so cold because it's kept the snow in good condition.
Most OMG moment of the day:
We got onto Tombstone as a full chair with 6 of us. John was between me and Jonas...he was so busy worrying that Jonas got onto the lift that HE himself didn't make it...and fell/rode off! It was hilarious!!! And they even slowed the lift down for him to get back on!
We finished the day with apres ski drinks and then half price sushi.
