day #48 in 2009-2010
Had Claire and Kate over in PC for a week. They rode Canyons today...and I played snowboard instructor and guide. Kinda frustrating because Claire is quite a good skier and we could've done so much more exploring and fun stuff if she had been on skis. But instead, there was a lot of slow groomer runs. Oh well. That meant I got better at riding switch as I did that for most of the day. And at least I wasn't stuck on the green runs like Lee was with Erin when she was here.
Then met up with Lee and Trace and I hit some log jibs and played around with 180s. Tried a 3. It didn't like me. But I did the flat rails today. I KNOW I can do them as I was doing them in NZ but it's taken me a while to get back into them...
TOMORROW! Can't wait to ride again!!!
